Juanita Jones is an established author, entrepreneur, motivational speaker and a woman with driven vision and in pursuit of fulfilling her purpose - to strengthen, encourage, and motivate others to walk out their purpose by Faith and to become their very BEST through the avenues of her business ventures. She is the owner of Edible Blessings, LLC Custom Cakes and Desserts, specializing in custom desserts and exceptional services for all occasions. Her motto is, "desserts should not only LOOK good, but actual TASTE as good as they look!" Although Juanita established the business in 2002, she took a massive leap of faith in 2016 by leaving a lengthy career in Corporate Sales and Marketing to take her dream of Edible Blessings to fulltime status. Aside from running a fulltime small business, in 2015, Juanita published her first book, "The Frustrated Dreamer: When your Dreams and Bigger than Your Now" - a book that combines raw, uncut truths regarding how to identify your purpose, how to recognize your "why", and how to execute your dreams in spite of how your current situation looks and feels. As a result, she has appeared on local television talk shows, and has been a featured key note speaker for numerous non-profit organizations, schools, universities, conferences, and churches. Juanita has a massive compassion for community services that benefit the infirmed, the poor, disadvantaged children, and for women battling emotional and mental issues. She is a natural giver at heart with her talent, time and treasure for numerous non-profit organizations, including: Impact Church of Jacksonville, where she lends her writing/editing/proofing skills to the ministry; Icing Smiles, Inc. - a nonprofit organization with a volunteer network of professional and novice bakers, who lend their talent for the creation of a custom "dream" cake for a mentally or physically ill child. She also donates a portion of all sales from her books and from Edible Blessings, LLC to help under priviledged families. Juanita is an honor graduate from Park University with a BS degree in both Business Management and Human Resources, and currently has over 20+ years of sales, public speaking, and business management experience. Despite the numerous hats she wears and the rolls she plays, she believes that her greatest accomplishment is her family. She currently resides in Jacksonville, FL with her husband Steve, and their two sons, Jalil and Jalen.
