Ms. Turner has published stories to entertain family members of all ages. Although her stories are mostly geared for young/juvenile readers, adults also expressed their pleasure reading her work. "Joseph's Surprise Gifts" is Book 2 of her Joseph Land series, preceded by "Joseph's New Camera." She credits her work to the many stories shared by her family elders through poetry and experiences of their youth. Despite the age differences, the seniors would offer their stories as a wealth of wisdom for the younger generation to heed and apply -- amid the laughter. Her other works include: "We Love to Cheer Our ABCs"; "I Love to Sing and Dance"; "Miss Betty's Daycare"; her YA Book "Orange Clouds Blue Sky"; and her upcoming fiction novel, "Paradise Dreams", to be released September 2015. As an advocate for literacy, the author's goal is to encourage family reading. Her motto: "Reading together brings family together." After an extended hiatus, Ms. Turner looks forward to sharing more of her stories with her growing readership.
