Delivery Details
1. What is the delivery timeframe if I Order online
The delivery days are mentioned in the product detail page. Some Books are sourced internationally and will take 10 – 15 working days. Gift Cards and E-Books are Emailed to the user’s registered email id.
2. What are the Delivery charges
We provide Free Shipping in United Arab Emirates if the order value is greater than AED 100. For other countries, the shipping charges are calculated automatically at the checkout page according to the weight of the product and destination country.
3. How can I track my Order
Once the order is dispatched, an automatic mail is sent to the user’s Email id with the courier name, and docket number. The customer can enter the docket number in the courier’s website and track the shipment progress.
4. Is there any Custom / Taxes / Octroi Charges
We do not have control on Taxes / Custom / Octroi charges and it varies from country to country. If there are any custom charges, it should be borne by the customer / recipient and Booksvenue doesn’t take any responsibility for custom charges charged during delivery.
Once the product is dispatched from our end, the customer has to bear the custom / tax if any and cannot be returned back to Booksvenue as we dispatch all products from Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
5. Shipping Restrictions
There are some restrictions in countries where the couriers won’t be able to ship the products. Once the order is placed, we would be informing the customer and the order will be cancelled if the courier has restrictions delivering in the country.
6. Do you provide Same Day Delivery mechanism
Currently we do not provide Same Day delivery. If for any local books, you can send us a email to contact@booksvenue.com and we will update if the same can be delivered.
7. Non-receipt of Package
Normally once the order is dispatched, the courier delivers the product in 3 – 7 working days according to the desitnation country. If you have not received the order or not able to track the same, please do get in touch at contact@booksvenue.com so that we can check with the courier and arrange the delivery at the earliest.
If the address mentioned is incorrect, the courier will return back the product to our company address and we will not be refunding the order if the Address is incorrect or if the courier attempts to call the customer and there is no response. You can either place a new order with the correct address or Email us at contact@booksvenue.com with the correct address so that we can amend the same and dispatch it again once the delivery charges are paid for second delivery from the customer
8. VAT and Export Duty Charges
As per UAE Law, 5% of VAT is applicable for all purchases online in Booksvenue.com.
