You are greater than 18 years of age and have a valid credit card which is under the customer's name or have authorized letter to use the credit card from the credit card holder.
Booksvenue is not responsible for the misusage of a customer's credit card online in our website. The customer should get in touch with their bank if any purchases are made using their card. All credit / debit card transactions or PayPal transactions are done in the payment gateways.
Once a customer registers in the website, an automatic mail is sent confirming the registration. Once an order is placed, an automatic order confirmation is sent electronically through Email to your registered Email id. Please check your Spam / Junk folder if the mail has not come in Inbox.
All prices posted on this website are subject to change without notice & Booksvenue is not responsible for any wrong prices mentioned. If any orders with price issues or stock issues happen, it will be cancelled after informing the customer. In case there are any additional charges excluding Custom charges or any other country specific charges, it will be mentioned in the website. Custom charges or any other country specific charges are not under our control and has to be borne by the recipient during delivery and Booksvenue will not be responsible for the same.
Payments -
We accept Cash on Delivery, Credit Cards and PayPal. For some Credit cards / Debit Cards or PayPal transactions, some documents might be requested by the payment gateway for verification purpose. Once the documents are sent by the customer, the order will be processed only after verification by the payment gateway. Else it will be refunded back to the customers credit / debit card or PayPal account.
Note : Some international banks might charge the conversion fee for other currencies, which we are not aware of. This depends on the banks and it will be charged to the customers credit card and Booksvenue will not be liable for these charges. If a customer uses any other currencies other than AED, their credit / debit card banks might charge extra than the mentioned amount in the website and we won’t be aware of the same as it is the issuing bank charges and not of Booksvenue. So Booksvenue is not liable for these charges.
Non-Serviceable Areas
Since the couriers do the deliveries, there are some non-serviceable areas and once the order comes, we will inform the customer to provide an alternate address or collect from the nearest courier office.
Return of Products –
Since majority of the books are ordered from International Publishers, once the order is placed we won’t be able to cancel the same. As we place the order with our Publishers and ensure to deliver it on time. We will accept the return of the products, provided such return is for products that are defective, wrongly delivered, wrong product and damaged during transit subject to the condition that we are informed about such discrepancies within 1 hour from the time of receipt of the product and provided that the products are returned in their original condition.
Stocks -
Booksvenue is not responsible for the stocks mentioned in the website. If the stock is not available, Booksvenue deserves the right to cancel the order.
Protection of Your Account:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You shall be responsible for all activities that occur under your account or password.
Product Description -
Booksvenue makes no warranties that the product description, images or any other details in the site are accurate, complete, reliable or error free. If the product offered by Booksvenue is not as described then it has to be returned in its unused condition by informing to us the same day when the product was received. Booksvenue does not take the liabilities of images, product descriptions & prices in the website.
