The Jews of Jesus' day looked for a Messiah coming down out of the sky in power. When God sent them a man, just like them, weak and without influence; they could not see the Kingdom. The Christians of today look for a Messiah coming down out of the sky in power. God sends them the weak, the lowly, the incapable. Which one is the Christ of God? The Kingdom Rising presents a view of the Kingdom of God rising up from beneath of us, catching us up into Love, a view little known in the church. When Jesus walked the path of the Atonement from Gethsemane to the Resurrection, was He doing something for us? Or does the gospel present us with a reality far more radical, a reality that turns everything upside down? What is man? God says that He created us in His image. It would seem only logical, then, that we can know what man is only by knowing God. How do we know God? Well - He sends us a man who says, "He who sees Me, sees God." The only way we can know God is by knowing a man! The Kingdom Rising turns our knowing of this God/Man contradiction down a path few people on this planet can see, not yet. Will the crippled, the blind, the autistic rush into the Kingdom behind the backs of everyone looking in the wrong direction? Will the least and the lowest on this planet overwhelm us all with the tenderness and kindness of Love revealed? What you read on these pages may well turn your world upside down, making you never the same again.
