Research, no matter how innovative it may be, will not make a difference in the lives of the target community, unless it is disseminated and utilized in an appropriate and timely manner. Improvements in livelihoods to a bigger extent depend on; the production, transfer and use of knowledge. Nevertheless, there is arguably a significant gap between research and practice pathway.
